Golf Operations Update

On Tuesday, May 26th we will begin welcoming all accompanied guests.

There will be no restrictions as to the number of accompanied guests on Mondays through Thursdays.

On Fridays through Sundays there will be a limit of one guest per member before 11:00 AM and no limit after 11:00 AM.

These restrictions are necessary due to the extended tee time spread and the significantly reduced space available on the tee sheets. We appreciate your understanding regarding these restrictions while we navigate the phased reopening restrictions.

Tee times are still required.

The single rider cart rule is still in effect.
Also on Tuesday, May 26th we will be reopening all of the Practice Areas and Members will be welcome to come to the club to work on their game. In order to reduce the number of ‘Touch Points’ as much as possible there will be no equipment left out such as Bag Stands, Shag Bags, Baskets, Den Caddies, Bunker Rakes, etc. If you would like to practice on any of the short game areas you may use your own balls or ask a bag room attendant for a sanitized shag bag of practice balls. Once you have completed your practice session please return the full shag bag to a bag room attendant.
You can review our Adult and Junior Clinic, School and Camp Programs for the Summer on our website at and click on 'Golf' and then ‘Learning Center’.  Fred, John, Paul and Fran are also available for private lessons so please feel free to call the Pro Shop at (609)465-7824 x1  for more information or to get signed up.

You all have been amazing throughout this time of uncertainty and we can not thank you enough for your continued support and understanding.

See You Soon!

Reminders About Our Current Operation in Phase One of our Reopening

Over the past week, it has been an absolute joy to see many of you here at The Shore Club, enjoying your beautiful course. We look forward to seeing many more of you in the coming days and weeks.

Although we are currently open for golf, we have postponed ALL organized golf events such as Jack & Jill, Ladies Nine & Wine, Thursday Scrambled Skins, Outside Outings and Opening Day until we can implement Phase Two on our journey back. We expect Phase Two to include the opening of the Driving Range and the new patio for dining. Our target date to begin Phase Two is June 4th. We will remain Members Only for the time being. Guests will once again be welcome as we successfully get through Phase One.

We typically do not permit the use of personal push carts, however we are temporarily relaxing this rule for those who feel more comfortable using their own during this time of uncertainty. The Push Cart Rental Fee will still apply when the Trail Fee is not in effect.

As we push forward during this time of our current "new" normal, we appreciate everyone's compliance with the CDC mandate and thank you for your patience.

In less than a two week’s time our golf course and restaurant, alongside the greater hospitality industry, has been flipped upside down as a result of the COVID-19 public health crisis. During the unprecedented weeks ahead, we are asking our members and friends who have enjoyed The Shore Club to support our team members who have been affected by the implications of the virus. The Shore Club Staff Assistance fund will donate 100% of collected donations to our staff that have served our members and their guests for years.

For those considering making a donation to provide relief for The Shore Club Staff Assistance Fund can do so by visiting HERE or emailing with their name, donation amount and preferred method of payment. Through your generosity, we can sustain an ongoing program to help The Shore Club community care for staff in need.

We are closely monitoring the current situation and are eager to open back up in any capacity as soon as we are able. As we navigate the weeks ahead, we thank you for your continued support and look forward to a time when we can all meet back on the links!

Wishing health and safety to you and yours.

On Saturday, March 21st the State of New Jersey issued Executive Order 107 outlining new guidelines in the fight against COVID-19. In an abundance of caution and the best interests of our valued members, guests and staff, we are pausing any play immediately until further notice. We are closely monitoring the rapidly evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) and will determine a re-opening date as soon as it is legal and prudent. Please periodically check our website for information.
As members of The Shore Club, we all know how lucky we are to have a place to go to enjoy our friends during a round of golf, a quick bite or cocktail. We think you can all agree that an important part of what makes our Club so special is the wonderful staff that diligently serves us and always with a friendly smile.
As the events of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak continues to unfold, we’d like to ask for your support in helping those who help us. As you might imagine, in response to the pressing financial pressures brought about by the virus and Executive Order, we have had to make the painful decision to temporarily separate several front-line employees.
We have decided to initiate a COVID-19 Staff Assistance Fund. These funds will be distributed to staff. Any donations will be disbursed to them to help pay any bills that may have built up during their absence.
If you would like to get involved please email our Membership Director, Amanda Ruhl, at
We thank you in advance for your consideration and support. We look forward to the day when we can all gather together again at our beloved Club.
On behalf of the Board and myself please continue to follow social distancing guidelines and stay safe!
